The UK is losing over 4,000 publicly owned buildings and spaces every year. So, Co-Op, being the philanthropic brand it is - one that prides itself in giving back to communities - decided to step in and try to help. They wanted to create a campaign highlighting this problem and kick-start a movement to help save these spaces from extinction.
The campaign, "Endangered Spaces", was created to help save under-threat spaces in local communities; from community halls and swimming baths to homeless shelters and playgrounds.
Working together with agneyc, M&C Saatchi Public Relations; I was tasked with delivering a documentary content series which highlighted three success stories of where Co-Op have intervened and helped save much-loved community spaces.
The remit of the project included initial concepting, handling all pre-production, live content (directing & shooting the content), as well as handling all of the post-production through to delivery of assets.
The campaign received widespread recognition and was deemed to be a huge success, and was entered into a variety of PR / Content awards in 2019.
