The United Nations' Environment Programme needed a Public Service Announcement film to launch World Environment Day 2019. The brief was to create a powerful message that would make people sit back and realise how making positive changes today can help generations to come.
The client indicated research had shown 'doom & gloom' messaging had little cut through. Therefore, the film had to focus on positive change and the concept was born from this. A future where climate change had been tackled and retrospectively celebrating the day the world decided to make a change to save itself.
The film premiered at the global World Environment Day summit in Beijing. I was instrumental as creative lead on the development and pitching of five creative routes, treatments and scripts - and was the lead partner in helping bring this winning idea to life in film in nine different languages.
The campaign was deemed a huge success and created large scale traction and engagement around the World Environment Day summit, and beyond.
